Kyou was not comfortable. He knew that it was his fault that he was in the state he was in but he couldn't help but grumble about it anyway. His back was turned to the house as he huddled behind a nearby bush. He took a quick look over his shoulder before turning away just as swiftly, his face a beet red.

Tohru was sitting on the porch, her hands covering most of her face. "Kyou-kun?" she called out, her voice muffled and low but it was enough for Kyou's heightened hearing to catch.

"What is it?" His annoyance was evident as he replied to her.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to! I'm just so clumsy. And..." He could already imagine her with her head down while she tried to apologize to him. The girl straightened up before continuing. "I mean, thank you for catching me and I... I didn't think that it would happen so fast." A yelp escaped her throat as she saw a patch of his bright orange hair shift from behind the bush he was hiding. "I'm sorry, Kyou-kun!"

Kyou irritably ran a hand through his hair. He didn't think it would happen like it had either. "It's not your fault. Do you expect me to not catch you after something like that?"

"But, I know how much you don't like this happening. And because you don't like it, I don't want you to..."

"I said it was okay, didn't I?" His tone came out much louder than he had intended. He cursed himself for that, trying to will himself to control his temper. It was true, it wasn't her fault. And he felt that was probably his for not being able to position himself at a better angle.

He turned to look over his shoulder, making sure that he remained obscure behind the bushes as he did so. "Look, you don't have to apologize for anything. It happened already and it's not like we knew how long it would take. Don't worry about it too much."

Tohru looked at his general direction, a small smile on her face. "Okay, Kyou-kun. If you say so."

Kyou looked away, the heat rising to his cheeks once more. He remained silent for another moment before calling out to Tohru. "Hey...? Do you think you could pass me my clothes?"

Kyou woke up to a start, his cheeks hot and flushed, his breathing haggard. "What the hell was that?"

The recording ended as the glow of the Dreamberry died down, and finally disconnected.
