[It takes a while before Kyou says anything. If anyone wants to take notice of how he looks, that grimace that usually plays on his face isn't present. Instead he looks rather serious, and just a little bit sad. But who's to blame him with what he was greeted to when he had gone looking for Kazuma earlier that day.

Finally, he stakes a breath and finally speaks up.]

If anyone knew him or studied under him at the dojo, Shishou is-- [A pause. No, not everyone would know who that was. He clears his throat and tries once more.] Kazuma isn't around anymore. The dojo's still going to be open though. I guess I'll be the one giving the classes now...

[Another pause as he lets that sink in a little. He never thought he'd be in charge of something like this on his own. But he can't let that bother him right now. There were a lot of other things on his mind, after all]

I've never really had to do something like this before either so if there's anyone who wants to help out, just say so. It would be better if you at least know something about martial arts.

If you've got any questions, I'll try to answer them. [Neck rub because this is a lot more awkward than he would like it to be. And with that, he ends the feed.]

[She knew what that expression on his face meant. When the broadcast was over, Tohru turns off her Dreamberry and it puts it aside on her desk. She leaves her room on the intent to find out which part of the house Kyou was at.]

Kyou-kun?

[As soon as he was done with the video he had tucked his Dreamberry away, and leaning backwards until his back met the floor. He wasn't one to hole himself up in his room very often but the situation called for such measures. When he did hear Tohru calling out to him though, he somehow manages a mutter from behind the arm he had draped over his face.]

Ah...

[She makes her way to his room, carefully sliding the door open. She mumbles a `Pardon me.` before shutting the door behind her.]

Are you... all right, Kyou-kun?

[Kyou doesn't move much from his position on the floor. All he does is adjust his arm a little so he could at least see her as she walked in.]

What are you talking about?

... Shishou-san was able to go home. I, um, [She lowers her head, wringing her hands together.] wanted to see how are you doing...

[There's a long pause before he actually answers her. He knew what to say. That it was okay. That she shouldn't worry about it but the words refused to actually form themselves into a coherent sentence. At least none that he was willing to say out loud.

Despite what he was feeling, he somehow wrestles three words out of his mouth.]

I'll be fine. [Eventually. And even as he says that, the tone of his voice betrays him.]

[Tohru hesitates for a moment, debating whether she should go near him or not. She exhales, gathering up her courage to move from standing near the door to sitting beside him.]

Are you sure Kyou-kun? [She looks at him, concern written on her features.] Shishou-san being here... it made you really happy.

[Feeling her presence closer to him, he finally removes the arm over his eyes. With both his arms, he pushes himself into a sitting position, crossing his legs underneath him.]

I'm sure.

[But he had to admit that having Kazuma around did make him happy, at least to himself. And it did help having someone else around in the dojo to help alleviate to awkwardness between himself and Tohru. He wasn't dense enough to suddenly say that such a thing between them had suddenly disappeared. It was still there and he acknowledged it fully.]

It's probably better that he's not around though...

Yeah. It had to be rebuilt after the flood but most of it is repaired now.

Dojo for what kinds of martial arts?

Shishou trained students in karate. But other kinds were welcome as well.

Hmm. I wouldn't mind a place to spar once in a while.

Do you do weapons practice, too?

Drop by whenever you want. If I'm not around, there's usually someone else watching over the place. [Like Tohru. But he'll need to find some other help soon.]

Not really. [Buuut just to be sure.] What kind of weapons are you talking about?

Some people bring their own. This place doesn't have its own set.

You... said you needed a hand with the dojo in general, though?

Yeah. Know anyone who wants to help?

Uh, actually... I wouldn't mind helping out. Regular martial arts training or weapons training. I can do either.

All sorts. Various martial arts since before I can remember, swords training from my uncle when I was older...

And I've got plenty of free time here. [he sounds a bit bitter, a distasteful emphasis on that last word.]
